Max Gutbrod is a partner in the Moscow office of Baker & McKenzie.

Dr. Gutbrod’s practice focuses on M&A, climate change, energy efficiency and corporate restructuring matters. He regularly advises on Kyoto Protocol implementation, financial regulatory, insurance, derivatives, corporate and commercial matters, legal reform. Dr. Gutbrod joined the Berlin office of Baker & McKenzie in 1993 and transferred to the Moscow office in 1995. Dr. Gutbrod managed both the CIS and Moscow offices of the firm from 2000 to 2003.

Max Gutbrod is a graduate of the University of Tubingen and the University of Munich (First Exam in 1985 and Second in 1990). He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Munich in 1992.
