Péter Lukácsi graduated with a degree in law in 2002 from the Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary). After his graduation, Péter became a PhD student at the Civil Law Department of the Eötvös Loránd University and simultaneously joined SBGK Patent and Law Offices where he started working as a trainee lawyer. After passing his bar exams in 2006 he became an attorney and subsequently a partner at SBGK.
Péter’s practice covers all areas of intellectual property law and he also has notable experience in competition law, advertising law, franchise law and corporate law. He advises and acts for numerous reputable international companies and has solid experience in litigation.
He is a member of numerous international professional associations such as the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Law (AIPPI), the Legal Network International (LNI), the International Franchise Lawyer’s Association (IFLA), the Antitrust Alliance and the International League of Competition Law (LIDC).
Péter is a regular speaker at national and international conferences concerning intellectual property law, competition law, advertising law and franchise law.
He is also the author and co-author of several publications in the above subjects. His articles and studies have been published in prestigious books and journals in Hungarian, as well as English and German languages.
Since September 2010, Péter has been a regular lecturer of civil law at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.
