Tunç Lokmanhekim is one of the founding partners of ELİG. He specialises in mergers & acquisitions and general corporate law, and leads the corporate transactional work of the firm. Mr Lokmanhekim represented several buyer and vendor sides in merger and acquisition transactions and advised both the financial investors and existing shareholders in various private equity transactions, including exits by the investors.
He graduated from Istanbul University School of Law in 1996. He is a member of Istanbul Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
Mr Lokmanhekim co-edited “Mergers and Acquisitions Under Turkish Law” in 2003. His relevant publications include the Turkey chapters of the International Comparative Legal Guide to Mergers & Acquisitions (2008), the European Mergers & Acquisitions Review (2007), Getting the Deal Through/Mergers & Acquisitions (2003-2010) and Getting the Deal Through/Merger Control (2004)
Mr. Lokmanhekim is fluent in English.
