Mauro Grinberg is Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at São Paulo University Law School and Master of Law by the Federal University of Pernambuco. Founding member of IBRAC – Brazilian Institute for the Study of Competition, Consumer and Trade Relations, of which was President (2008/2009) and is currently Counselor (2010/2011). Was Attorney of the National Treasury from 1976 to 1998, with retirement in the highest position of the career (Sub-Attorney of the National Treasury) and Commissioner of Administrative Council of Economic Defense (CADE) from 1986 to 1990. Member of the American Bar Association, Antitrust and International Law Sections, since 2004, and of the International Bar Association, Antitrust and Trade Law Committee, since 1999. Member of the Lawyers Institute of São Paulo (IASP) since 1990, member of the Consulting Counsel of the American Antitrust Institute, Washington, DC and Fellow of the C-CIER (Center for Competition, Investment and Economic Regulation) of CUTS International, India.
