In his international practice, Professor Brödermann, managing partner of BRÖDERMANN & JAHN, Hamburg/Germany, concentrates on international litigation and arbitration and on international transactions. He holds titles from the Universities of Paris (Licencé en Droit 1980, Maître en Droit 1981), Harvard (LL.M. 1983) and Hamburg (Dr. iur. 1994, Professor 2011). Prof. Brödermann is President of the Chinese European Legal Association (CELA) which is the sole shareholder of the Chinese European Arbitration Centre (CEAC). He also focuses on arbitration in his teaching at Hamburg University and in his legal writing. He is not only author of numerous books and articles but also engaged for the legal profession, i.a. in the Board of the Hamburg Bar. Professor Brödermann is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2011).
