Mrs. Hermione Markides graduated from the Law School of Athens University. She has been the Secretary General of the Cyprus Bar Council for 6 years, President of the Society for Scientific and Cultural Studies, and President of the Council of Legal Education, preparing the Pupil Advocates for the Cyprus Bar, in association with Leicester University, for 15 years. She was a lecturer on Cyprus Law and has published legal articles on IP Law and Company Law. She specializes in litigation on IP Law and Commercial Law, is a Member of the Internet Committee of ECTA and the Unfair Competition Committee of MARQUES. Also she is a member of the Board and Council of EPI. She currently practices as a lawyer and is a Director at Markides, Markides & Co. LLC, heading the IP Law Department.
