Michael Raninger is a principal associate of the firm and works in our Vienna office. He is a member of the finance practice group and specialises in structured finance, capital markets transactions (including tier 1 products and programme updates), derivatives, banking regulation (with focus on Basel II), project finance and banking.

Michael was born in 1976 in Linz, Austria. He completed his legal education at the University of Vienna (Mag iur, 2000), Karl-Franzens University of Graz (Dr iur, 2003) and King’s College University of London (LLM, 2004). During and after his studies he attended an obligatory internship at the Austrian courts and worked as an associate for Binder Grösswang Rechtsanwälte in Vienna for a total of one and a half years.

Michael joined the firm in 2005. He speaks German and English.
