Eszter Katona is an associate focusing on energy law and dispute resolution, as well as regulatory and general corporate areas. She has also assisted on matters involving restructurings and due diligence reviews.

She attended Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary (J.D., 2008).

Since joining Weil’s Budapest office in 2008, Ms Katona has advised a variety of leading Hungarian and international companies across her practice areas.

Prior to joining Weil, Ms Katona gained experience as a law clerk at three Hungarian and international law firms, where she focused on corporate law matters. She participated in several legal conferences during her university studies, and recently organised a lecture series focusing on contemporary legal matters.

She is fluent in English and German in addition to her native Hungarian.
