Pier Luigi Roncaglia is a founder and the managing partner of Studio Legale SIB. After attending the University of Bologna school of law, he has practiced in the IP field for more than 20 years.
Mr. Roncaglia is a member of the Florence and Italian Supreme Court Bars and his current practice emphasizes trademark, trade dress, design, copyrights and unfair competition litigation, both in Italy and before the E.U. Courts, as well as anti-counterfeiting. He has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, especially in the fields of fashion, luxury goods and entertainment.
Mr. Roncaglia teaches industrial property law as Adjunct professor at the University of Florence school of economics.
He is active in the main international Intellectual Property Associations and he is a frequent speaker and published author.
With respect to INTA, in addition to currently serving as member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Roncaglia is Vice Chair of the Trademark Reporter®.
Mr. Roncaglia is member of the Editorial Board of the Giurisprudenza annotata di diritto industriale and of the Advisory Board of Harper’s Bazaar Anticounterfeiting Alliance.
