Mr. Godofredo Mendes Vianna is the Managing Partner of Kincaid | Mendes Vianna Advogados, a traditional Brazilian law firm established in 1932. He joined the office in 1987 and became a Partner in 1993. He received his law degree from the PUC Catholic University in 1990.

Mr. Mendes Vianna has longstanding experience in shipping, international trade and oil & gas matters, including litigation and non-litigation works.

He is a Member of the Brazilian Bar Association, a Member of the International Bar Association (IBA), a regular speaker at international bodies and the Coordinator Professor of the Maritime ad Port Law Post Graduation Course on at Fundação Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro.
