Jean-François Adelle is a Partner of JeantetAssociés. He was born on 17 April 1958. He graduated from the law schools of Nancy and Paris Assas, the Paris Institute of Comparative Law (magna cum laude) and the University of Pennsylvania (LL.M). Admitted to the Bar in 1979, he gained his experience in several foreign international and French law firms until he joined JeantetAssociés as a partner in 2003. Jean-François has developed a specialist practice as counsel in banking and financial law, and focuses on structured finance transactions for a French and foreign clientele including lead arrangers, sponsors, funds, and project companies. He has authored many articles and contributed to various international publications in the field of banking and finance, in particular collaterals, syndication and fiducie (trusts). Jean-François has chaired the European alliance of Commercial Law Affiliates (2000-2001) and the Security and Fiducie Group of the Financial Law Committee of Paris Europlace (2003–2010) and he is an Expert with the French Institute of International Legal Experts (I.F.E.J.I).
