Erik Bertelsen was born in 1964 and became a partner in 2000. Erik is a partner within the competition law group. The main work area is EU and Danish competition law and his main areas of expertise include merger control and advice on price and discount issues in relation to dominant companies and legal proceedings within competition and procurement law.

Furthermore, Erik provides continuously advice on procurement law issues and overall EU law issues, energy law and commercial law in general.

Erik Bertelsen graduated from the University of Aarhus (Master of Laws 1989) and the Free University of Brussels (LL.M 1992). Erik was manager of Kromann Reumert’s office in Brussels from 1994-1996, which is part of the competition law group. Erik is a regular speaker at conferences on competition law issues. Erik has published a large number of articles in Danish and international journals.
