Sead Miljkovic is a qualified Bosnian lawyer and the Managing Partner of the Wolf Theiss office in Sarajevo. He plays a key role in both the competition and corporate practices in Sarajevo and is also active in the fields of M&A, energy, banking and regulatory (with competition aspect) matters. Sead specialises in national competition law and merger control law. He submitted the first merger notification to the competition authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and also today has the highest score when it comes to the numbers of notifications submitted. As a leading competition lawyer in the country, he was invited to act as a legal advisor during the adoption procedure of proposed amendments of the Competition Act in order to harmonize it with the EU competition provisions. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss in 2005, Sead worked for four years with a business law firm in Sarajevo where he acted as a Senior Legal Advisor. Previously, he acted as head of the legal department at the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (a regulatory body competent to establish and maintain an independent judiciary).
