Gerrit Vandendriessche is partner in the Brussels based law firm ALTIUS where he heads the ICT practice. He assists hardware manufacturers, software developers, system integrators, e-commerce players, telecommunications operators and suppliers of other ICT-related services such as consulting, outsourcing, support and maintenance services.

Gerrit regularly advises on data protection, e-commerce, cloud computing, digital signatures, trade practices matters, including (on-line) advertising, and general commercial law. He also conducts ICT-related litigation.

Gerrit is a freelance Researcher at the Centre for Law, Science, Technology & Society Studies (LSTS) of the Free University of Brussels (VUB). He is a member of ITECHLaw and the Belgian representative on the ITechLaw E-commerce Law Committee.
