Dr Silke Möller is a counsel at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ, a German law firm specialising exclusively in competition and corporate work.
Examples of recent experience include:
- establishing international compliance networks and compliance programmes for a global distribution group, a producer of network attached storage solutions and a major European group active in concessions and the public works sector;
- filing merger control notifications with the Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission as well as coordinating multiple filings, inter alia for Assa Abloy, MPC Capital, Rowa and Klingel;
- advising clients in cartel investigations before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office, or in relation to multiple leniency filings, including investigations in the field of construction material, confectionary, meat products, food packaging, drugstore products, and flour mills;
- structuring co-operations and drafting co-operation agreements in the areas of research & development, joint purchasing, or distribution.
Silke Möller studied law at the universities of Münster and Barcelona. She completed her Master studies at King’s College London with an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law and was awarded a doctorate from the University of Bonn. During the research for her doctoral thesis on the notion of consumer welfare in European and American antitrust law, she spent some time as a scholar-in-residence at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
After her admission to the bar she worked as a foreign associate with the antitrust law team in the Brussels’ office of a major US law firm.
Silke Möller is a member of the Düsseldorf bar, the German Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht, the German-American Lawyers Association and the Competition Law Scholars Forum.
