Mr. Terence Lee is the Managing Partner of Smith & Partners, Hong Kong (in affiliation with Carroll, Burdick & McDonough in the US) specializing in dispute resolution in particular product liability litigation practice in Asia. He is an international trial lawyer who has successfully handled complex products, commercial, construction, land and trust litigation and arbitrations around Asia, including many in the challenging jurisdictions of Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, PRC, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. Mr. Lee leads the coordination team in Asia which helps to oversee and manage all product liability customer complaints matters and lawsuits for a few prestigious manufacturers.

His practice also focus on advising clients on regulatory issues and assisting them in formulating policies so as to minimise corporate and personal regulatory, civil and criminal liability risks in Asia.

Mr. Lee is a barrister of England and Wales, an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and a Solicitor with the High Court of Hong Kong.

He has also been involved in many cross-border transactions and litigations, including conducting due diligence for a Swedish company acquiring shares in companies in Thailand, negotiating, reviewing and drafting joint venture and share purchase agreements and joint venture agreements in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and PRC and handling a construction arbitration regarding a hotel in Vietnam.
