Vagn Thorup was born in 1950. He joined Kromann Reumert in 1978 and was appointed partner in 1980. Vagn’s primary fields of expertise are mergers and acquisitions, stock exchange law, company law, general commercial law and IT law. He is the preferred legal adviser for a broad selection of Danish and foreign industrial and financial clients. Vagn has extensive experience in advising clients with regard to Denmark’s financial and insurance regulations and the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA).

Vagn obtained his law degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1975 and was a graduate research student at the University of Oslo in 1979.
Several of the most prominent legal publications have consistently ranked Vagn as a leading lawyer within his areas of expertise.
