Katarzyna Karcz has an MSc in civil engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, a certificate of postgraduate IP and studies from Jagellonian University, Krakow. She has been a Polish patent and trademark attorney since 1999 and a European patent attorney since 2004. Now a partner at Patpol, Ms Karcz’s activities focus on the prosecution and enforcement of mechanical patents. In June 2009 she was appointed the managing director of Patpol. A member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). Ms Karcz is also a vice president of the Polish group of the AIPPI. She regularly participates in the AIPPI’s work and frequently attends seminars, forums and congresses.
