Faizah Jamaludin is a partner in Skrine’s corporate division. Prior to joining Skrine, Faizah served as in-house legal counsel of ExxonMobil in Malaysia for more than eight years. Faizah’s practice focuses on energy with an emphasis on oil & gas. She advises and represents oil companies both upstream and downstream. She has acted for a number of international oil companies in PSCs, JOAs and farm-ins and matters relating to the manufacturing, transportation, sales and supply of oil and oil products in Malaysia. She has also assisted a number of oil services companies in setting up their businesses in Malaysia and in obtaining Petronas licences for the supply of upstream goods and services to the oil & gas industry. Faizah also acts in the sale, purchase, construction, registration and financing of vessels related to the oil & gas industry. She is currently acting for a number of companies in projects relating to the development of marginal oil fields and to EORs under Malaysia’s recently introduced Economic Transformation Plan.

Faizah is a Barrister of the Inner Temple, London and holds an LLM in shipping law from the Institute of Maritime law, University of Southampton, United Kingdom. She was called to the English Bar in 1990 and the Malaysian Bar in 1994.
