Paul Sestak is the managing partner of the Prague office of Wolf Theiss. He has 20 years of experience as an attorney with expertise in mergers & acquisitions, privatisations, investment funds, cross-border transactions and banking & finance. His recent work includes advising a major Czech energy company CEZ in an acquisition of a majority stake in an Albanian distribution company, advising UniCredit Group in the sale of HYPO stavební sporitelna and advising LUKOIL in the purchase of a network of petrol stations in the Czech Republic. It further includes advising a number of private equity funds (e.g. Cerberus, Gilde, CVC, PAI and Permira) and multinational companies in many tenders and in acquisitions and divestments of various businesses in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
