Ms Emelianova is the head of mergers and acquisition and banking and finance practice at Vlasova, Mikhel & Partners.

Her experience includes counselling major Western banks on numerous financial sector transactions, like syndicated loans, trade finance arrangements and derivatives, as well as providing ongoing advice on Belarusian financial regulations. Among her clients are UniCredit Bank Austria, Bayerische Landesbank, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, Sberbank, VTB and other major financial institutions.

In M&A sector transactions Ms Emelianova has advised on such remarkable M&A transactions as acquisition of GSM operator “Belarusian Telecommunications Network” by Turkcell, acquisition of one of the major state-controlled bank – BPS Bank – by Russian Sberbank (the largest privatisation transactions of 2008 and 2009 respectively), and merger of Danone and Unimilk CIS businesses in 2010 (recognised as IFLR 2010 “M&A Deal of the Year”).
