Trevisán is a partner and a member of the board at Estudio Trevisán, which he joined in December 2001. Since then he has worked at Estudio Trevisán, Estudio O’Farrell as an associate and the BACS Banco de Crédito y Securitización S.A. as general counsel from January 2004 to January 2008.
He attended the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) Buenos Aires, (Lawyer 1997); and the London School of Economics (LSE), London, UK, where he received his Master of Laws, in 2001. He also attended Yale University, New Haven, USA in 1997; a postgraduate course on financial law and capital markets, at UCA, Buenos Aires in 1998; and a postgraduate course on law and economics, at CEDEF, Buenos Aires in 2005.
He practices commercial law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking & finance project finance pharmaceuticals & healthcare and oil & gas.
He has published in legal journals such as El Derecho, La Ley and Campus. Getting the Deal Through, Argentine Chapter on Mergers & Acquisitions (2007 – 2009).
His LLM dissertation was on the topic of “Alternative methods of dispute resolution in Argentina: Towards a Voluntary System” (2001) and has lectured on “Internet and the Law I”, 2000.
He teaches at FORES Foro de Estudios sobre la Administración de Justicia, Universidad de San Andrés and is a Member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires; International Bar Association (IBA), Antitrust Committee.
He speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
