Simon Hsiao, graduated from the Department of Law of National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan (LL.B.), Law School of Soochow University in Taiwan (LL.M.), and Law School of Cornell University in the USA (LL.M.), has worked in Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law and been a senior attorney thereof. He is now a partner of Wu & Partners. He specializes in litigation related to intellectual property matters and also has more than 16 years of experience in general laws related to commercial, labor, engineering matters. He wrote a book entitled “Practice of Patent Litigation”, which is a significant teaching material of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Training Academy, sponsored by the Intellectual Property Office of Taiwan. This work is the only one book introducing the whole picture of litigation practice related to patent infringement and cancellation in Taiwan. In addition to an attorney trying cases in courts and arbitration proceedings, he is also an arbitrator of the Taiwan Arbitration Association and a patent agent admitted by the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office.
