Laurie Kamaiko is a partner in the New York City office of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP, and is a member of the Coverage and Claims Practice Group that is part of the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Department.

Laurie’s practice focuses on advising insurers, reinsurers, and other companies in the insurance industry on issues involving coverage, claims handling, and extra contractual exposures. She regularly advises insurers on complex coverage issues, negotiates resolution of coverage disputes and litigates coverage actions. She also frequently consults with insurers on their development of new forms. She is co-chair of the firm’s Privacy and Data Protection Group and co-author of the firm’s white paper “Everyone’s Nightmare: Privacy and Data Breach Risks. She is a frequent lecturer and author on insurance issues, minimizing extra –contractual exposures, and developments in insurance coverage law. Laurie was included in the 2010 New York – Metro Super Lawyers listings by Thomson & Reuters.
