Alessandro P. Giorgetti lives in Milan, Italy with his wife, a daughter and a son. A graduate of Milan State University in 1983 in private international law he was admitted to the Milan Bar that year; six years later he studied Commercial Law at the Robinson College, Cambridge (UK).

He is member to the special Bar for the High Courts where he obtained some leading cases in insurance and liability law.

Mr. Giorgetti has a quite wide range of specialization handling species litigation – including financial institutions, B.B.B., Cash in Transit and Infidelity, JBP and FBP -, D. & O. and Professional liabilities – especially medical malpractice – as well as Product Liability claims.

He also practice in the field of Reinsurance litigation where he has acted as principal consultant or litigator in some of the major cases involving Italian Cedents and Reinsurers.

He normally work in English and French and he is an active member of IBA, IADC, D.R.I. – Defence Research Institute and the Association of Fellows and Legal Scholars of the Center for International Studies of Salzburg (A).

Since year 2000 he is listed into the World Who’s Who of International Professional and the Who’s Who of Insurance law and the Who’s Who of Product Liability. Mr. Giorgetti authored several articles as well as chapters of books on Italian jurisdiction and he has recently published on Group and Class Actions the book “Contenzioso di Massa in Italia, in Europa e nel Mondo” (Mass litigation in Italy, in Europe and around the World).
