Rachel Levitan, LLM is the founder and the joint senior partner at Levitan Sharon & Co Law Offices.
Rachel is a graduate of the Tel Aviv University (1977), where she obtained an LLM degree, summa cum laude. Rachel has written many articles on insurance law, which have appeared in international publications, and has published a book in Israel on insurance law. Rachel Levitan constantly lectures in professional seminars within the Israeli business community and to different forums in the international insurance markets.
In recent years, Rachel is mainly involved in complicated claims and is perceived as the leading expert on the D&O issues. She lectures about the topics in different forums in Israel, including boards of various conglomerates. Another special expertise is insurance of banks, which includes assessing and handling fidelity claims.
Rachel is involved in drafting various financial products aiming to answer the Basel II requirements for the insurance industry.
