Sondre Dyrland, dr. juris (LL.D.), advises oil and gas companies engaged on the Norwegian continental shelf on a broad range of contract types and issues, such as sales, lifting and transportation of natural gas and LNG, joint operating agreements, offshore construction contracts and general contract law.
Sondre Dyrland earned his doctoral degree in 2007 on a thesis about standard framework agreements for short term gas sales in Europe and USA. He has also published several articles on gas market regulations and gas markets, and a book about the EU gas market directive. He also lectures at the law faculty of the University of Oslo.
Sondre Dyrland joined Kluge in late 2007 and became a partner from 2010. He has previously worked as an associate at Norsk Hydro, as legal advisor at Norges Bank Investment Management and as a research fellow at the law faculty of Oslo. In 2004 he was a Fulbright visiting scholar to GWU Law School, Washington D.C.
