Peter is a partner and head of Dundas & Wilson’s EU and Competition Group. He advises on a wide range of competition and regulatory issues, in relation to both transactions and ongoing commercial and structural issues, particularly in the energy sector. He defends clients in investigations by competition authorities and regulators and advises them on compliance with the requirements of EU law. He also increasingly advises on resolving disputes in which competition and regulatory issues arise. A particular focus of his work in the past few years has been the impact of the EU’s third energy liberalisation package and other related legislation such as the Regulation on Energy Market Integrity and Transparency.
