Olugboyega Kayode is the Managing Partner of David Garrick, Kayode & Co., a Commercial Law Firm with extensive experience in Intellectual Property Law. The firm is one of the pioneers in the intellectual property practice in Nigeria and has been active in this area since its establishment in 1960.

Olugboyega kayode obtained his Bachelor and Master of Laws (LL.B and LL. M) degrees from the Unversity of London in 1968 and 1969 respectively. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1972 and has since worked as a private legal practitioner specializing in intellectual property, corporate and tax law.

He has advised a number of local and international corporations on their intellectual property rights and enforcement strategies, licensing and technology transfer, tax liabilities and legal/regulatory requirements for doing business in Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Institute of Trade Marks Attorneys (ITMA).
