Astrid Gérard is partner of Preu Bohlig and specialises on delivering advice in all sectors of Intellectual Property Law with emphasis on Trademark Law, as well as in Registered Designs, Competition Law and Copyright, which includes both litigation and counselling. Focusing on fighting product piracy, she is committed to pursuing this task not only in her daily work but also as a member of internationally active committees. She represents above all clients from the sector of the consumer goods, sporting goods and food industry.

Astrid Gérard is a regular speaker on Trademark Law and Law of Civil Procedure. She trains future patent attorneys in preparation of their German and European qualifying examination and holds various in-house seminars for legal departments of industrial enterprises.

Astrid Gérard is member of the INTA Anti-Counterfeiting Committee (European Union Subcommittee) and speaks English, Spanish and French.
