Tommy Pettersson is a partner at Mannheimer Swartling and a co-chairman of its EU and competition law group together with Johan Carle. Over the years Mr Pettersson has worked extensively both on EC competition matters and on Swedish competition law matters representing international and domestic clients before the European Court of First Instance, the European Commission, the Swedish Competition Authority, Swedish courts and arbitration tribunals.
He has written numerous articles and has been a speaker at several seminars in the field of EC and competition law, and has for many years been engaged as a judge in the European Law Moot Court Society.
Mr Pettersson received his LLM from the University of Uppsala in 1985 and became a member of the Swedish Bar Association in 1990. He joined Mannheimer Swartling in 1987 and became a partner in 1993. Between 1993 and 1998, he was the person in charge of the firm’s Brussels office.
