Ikem is a senior associate with SimmonsCooper Partners. Ikem has provided advice on the development of legislation for competition law, consumer protection and debt management. Ikem has advised on the largest sub-national bond in Nigeria. He is actively involved in formulating and implementing structures for raising and organising debt or equity capital for both corporations and governments.

Ikem provides advice on merger control issues including pre-merger preparation, local-effects questions and joint venture considerations. Ikem was educated in the University of Benin (2001) and admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2004.
