Angela Nissyrios is an associate at M. & P. Bernitsas Law Offices. She has considerable experience in the area of EU & Competition law, advising on antitrust and merger control as well as State aid issues. Angela acts on behalf of clients in the preparation of cartel cases heard before the Greek Competition Commission, has experience in assessing commercial agreements and policies for their compliance with competition law and is active in obtaining clearance for M&A transactions from the European Commission and competent national regulators. She advises extensively on the application of EU law in Greece and the regulatory requirements applicable to numerous sectors including media, telecommunications and energy, identifying key issues that clients should be aware of in evaluating their proposed investments into Greece. Prior to joining the firm, Angela worked with Dibbs Barker in Sydney and the Standards Board for England and completed a traineeship with the Legal Implementation and Enforcement Unit of the Environmental Directorate-General at the European Commission in Brussels.
