Lucie Bányaiová is a partner in the law office Bányaiová Vožehová. She focuses her practice mostly on litigation, competition law, conflict of laws, intellectual property law and EC law. Ms Bányaiová has a long time experience working in prestigious international law firms.
During her Carrar she represented renown international companies in proceedings before the Office for Protection of Economic Competition regarding merger approval, prohibited antitrust conduct as well as in judicial review proceedings. She has also successfully represented clients before Czech courts in a number of unfair competition cases. Due to her broad litigation and competition law practice, she gained knowledge about legal environment of various industries, among others, the energy, IT and hygiene products sectors.
In addition to her private practice, she currently works as an external lecturer at the Charles University School of Law in Prague where she leads seminars on conflict of laws and international trade and has lectures on competition law for foreign students in the Socrates/Erasmus program organized by the University. Lucie Bányaiová is also listed as an arbitrator with Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. Before going into the private practice, she worked as a legislative counsel with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic.
