Stuart J. Sinder has been practicing intellectual property law at Kenyon & Kenyon LLP for over thirty years and is co-chair of the firm's Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Practice Management Group. He holds both a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Communication Engineering from Cornell University as well as a law degree from Yale University.
Mr. Sinder's practice spans the entire scope of intellectual property matters, including extensive federal court litigation, obtaining, maintaining, defending and enforcing patents, trademarks and copyrights both in the United States and in foreign countries, counseling clients in all aspects of intellectual property, administering worldwide patent and trademark protection programs for major clients, rendering infringement and validity opinions, drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, and handling the acquisition, sale and financing of intellectual property rights. He has been lead counsel in dozens of Federal Court litigations throughout the United States concerning such diverse matters as Internet communication and infrastructure equipment, international text messaging, automotive acceleration sensors, computer software protection, false advertising, entertainment media licenses, and a variety of patent, trademark and copyright infringement disputes involving numerous technological or entertainment areas.
Mr. Sinder has been a Contributing Editor for the Getting the Deal Through publications on Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights since 2004 and has spoken on intellectual property matters at numerous legal seminars and conferences, including the Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), Corporate Legal Times and the Wall Street Transcript.
