Avocat à la Cour and admitted to the New York bar, Maria Trabucchi is a Partner in Freshfields’ Bruckhaus Deringer Antitrust, Competition and Trade group, based in the Paris office. Maria’s practice is devoted to European and French competition law. She advises French and international companies on all aspects of competition law, including merger control, cartels, abuses of dominant position and State aid before the European Commission and the French competition authorities. Her practice encompasses counselling, litigation and transactional matters across an array of industries, with a particular expertise in the energy, aerospace, transportation, luxury products and consumer goods sectors. Maria graduated from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and also holds an LL.M. in Trade Regulation and Antitrust from the New York University School of Law. She is a member of the Association des Avocats Pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence (APDC) and the Association Française d’Etude de la Concurrence (AFEC).
